Description: Swap over of low voltage MR16 halogen bulbs to LED bulbs in current fitted downlighter housings in bathroom setting.
I wanted to save on the energy output from the 6 x MR16 35watt bulbs in my Bathroom and save on the replacement costs of the bulbs. Not wanting to spend a lot on the bulbs I made use of the non dimmable/non Philips branded ones.
The quality of the light, brightness and colour is superb! I was very pleasantly surprised.
Just as I was told, the bulb fitted the housing just like a standard MR16 halogen and I didn't have to worry about the transformer already install. Great job and now it only uses 42 watts not 210 watt!!!
Problems: None, very easy to do - it was just swapping a few light bulbs over with no messy transform changes or changing of the housings already fitted.
