36 Degrees Brand SpecificationsIntegral LED CRI SpecificationsCRI stands for Colour Rendering Index. It is a measurement of how well a light source renders the true colour of an object compared with natural daylight.
Rated out of 100, with daylight scoring a perfect 100. Lights with 90 CRI and above are classed as being high CRI. Lights with 80 CRI are the industry standard.
80 Ra Cap Type Integrated LED Colour Temperature SpecificationsMost of the LED lights we offer are available in the big 3 colour temperatures which are:2700K - Extra warm white has a warmer tone, like a halogen, although not quite as orange.3000K - Warm white is a mid range colour tone. Not as orange as 2700K and not as harsh as 4000K. This is the most popular colour temperature.4000K - Cool white (or neutral white), although clearer and slightly brighter than the others, it can make a room feel cold and clinical. Used correctly in the right environment it can make a room appear more modern. If you're unsure about colour temperatures we have colour temperature adjustable downlights available. These downlights contain multiple colour temperatures that can be changed either by a dip switch, wall switch or App. More information about them can be found here.If you want a brighter light then choose something with more lumens. The brightness difference in colour temperatures is barely 5%.Dimensions Located Below Specifications Table Dimmable Yes Downlight Type SpecificationsFixed Finish SpecificationsChoosing the right finish or color for your downlights is crucial in achieving a harmonious interior design. For a cohesive aesthetic, consider coordinating the finish of your light fittings with that of your switches and sockets. Matt white remains the top choice for downlight finishes due to its universal appeal and it blends in with white ceilings.

Product Questions & Answers
Planning to install in my bathroom, which is small and windowless. Approx 5m squared. Would 4 provide enough general lighting. Plan to install an illuminated mirror for soft lighting.Question by: Zelma Indans on 10 Apr 2022, 14:52Yes, 4 of the EvoFire+ would be sufficiently bright enough for this size of room. Anything around 1 downlight per square metre is fine.
Our usual recommendation is to leave 1M spaces between each downlight and 0.5M from the walls. This can be adapted per room and bathrooms don't need to be as bright as rooms like kitchens.Answer by: Chris Horridge (Admin) on 12 Apr 2022, 08:49Will this light be suitable to go into plasterboard with celotex above with a 70mm cutout and 100mm deep hole?Question by: Michael Elliot on 28 Jul 2022, 20:54Yes this will be fine to go in there.Answer by: Mathew Smith (Admin) on 29 Jul 2022, 08:59I have about 50mm depth from the outer surface of the plasterboard to the PIR insulation layer. Is that enough clearance for this downlight? I'm a little concerned about heat generated,Question by: Sameer on 21 Oct 2022, 14:58There would be little to no heat generated for this product so you should be fine.Answer by: Mathew Smith (Admin) on 22 Oct 2022, 08:55Hi can you confirm this integral Evo fire downlight can be used with the hole converter kit please? Existing 95mm holes in the ceiling,
Thank you
GinetteQuestion by: Ginette on 26 Oct 2022, 08:19I've double checked and yes, the EvoFire hole converter is compatible with this this:
https://www.downlightsdirect.co.uk/integral-evofire-hole-converter-plate-for-larger-hole-sizes.htmlAnswer by: Chris Horridge (Admin) on 26 Oct 2022, 11:00I have 12 downlights (split into 4 sections of 3) going in my living room of 33.75 square meters (dining and living area open plan).
the largest gap between downlights, is 223cm (across length of ceiling). the shortest distance between downlights is 115cm (width of ceiling) Would this 38 degree beam be sufficient for this?
This product ticks all the boxes, but i think i may need a 45 degree plus version. Do you have such product? The key feature on this one is the option to change the LED. I like that it is also integrated.Question by: Deepak on 11 Jan 2023, 17:37You'd be better off with a wider beam angle of around 60 degrees for this. I'd say anything over 1.5 metres needs a wider beam angle.
There is only the 38 degree beam angle in this downlight. We have other wide beam angles available but they're either integrated or GU10 downlights. This is the only hybrid we offer.
Here's an article about beam angles that shows the dull patches that can appear when incorrect beam angles are used:
