60 Degrees Brand SpecificationsJCC Lighting CRI SpecificationsCRI stands for Colour Rendering Index. It is a measurement of how well a light source renders the true colour of an object compared with natural daylight.
Rated out of 100, with daylight scoring a perfect 100. Lights with 90 CRI and above are classed as being high CRI. Lights with 80 CRI are the industry standard.
80 Ra Cap Type Integrated LED Colour Temperature SpecificationsMost of the LED lights we offer are available in the big 3 colour temperatures which are:2700K - Extra warm white has a warmer tone, like a halogen, although not quite as orange.3000K - Warm white is a mid range colour tone. Not as orange as 2700K and not as harsh as 4000K. This is the most popular colour temperature.4000K - Cool white (or neutral white), although clearer and slightly brighter than the others, it can make a room feel cold and clinical. Used correctly in the right environment it can make a room appear more modern. If you're unsure about colour temperatures we have colour temperature adjustable downlights available. These downlights contain multiple colour temperatures that can be changed either by a dip switch, wall switch or App. More information about them can be found here.If you want a brighter light then choose something with more lumens. The brightness difference in colour temperatures is barely 5%.3000-4000K Dimensions Located Below Specifications Table Dimmable Yes Double Insulated Yes Downlight Type SpecificationsRecessed downlights come in various types, including fixed, adjustable, and bathroom (IP65) models.
Fixed downlights direct light straight downward. Adjustable downlights let you change the light angle to highlight specific objects or areas.
IP65 downlights are water-resistant, making them suitable for bathroom zones 1 and 2. Most integrated LED downlights are standardly IP65 rated, allowing them to be used in any room, including kitchens and living rooms.
Fixed GU10 downlights lack water resistance, typically having an IP20 rating. They have no sealing and are generally more affordable.
Adjustable Finish SpecificationsChoosing the right finish or color for your downlights is crucial in achieving a harmonious interior design. For a cohesive aesthetic, consider coordinating the finish of your light fittings with that of your switches and sockets. Matt white remains the top choice for downlight finishes due to its universal appeal and it blends in with white ceilings.
Fire Rated SpecificationsFire-rated downlights are designed to preserve the fire resistance of ceilings by preventing fire spread through the cut-out spaces required for installing these recessed lighting fixtures.
Yes IP Rating SpecificationsThis is the resistance to dust and moisture. The first digit is for the resistance to dust and the second digit is for moisture.
Anything higher than IP44 can be used in bathroom zones 1 and 2.
An IP65 rating offers a higher resistance and is generally used outdoors.
An IP68 is fully water resistant and can be submersed in water, up to 1M in depth.

Hi there, it says triac dimming in the spec, would a set of 6 work with just a dimmer switch on the wall? Or would that need a separate driver?Question by: Rob on 4 May 2022, 19:02TRIAC is just the technical term for mains dimmable, so yes a set of 6 would work with a dimmer switch on the wall. You would need an LED compatible dimmer switch such as Varilight V-Pro which is available here:
https://www.downlightsdirect.co.uk/varilight-v-pro.html
Or in a retrofit module format, so you can swap your existing dimmer and use the same plate:

No separate driver required, the V50 is mains voltage.Answer by: Chris Horridge (Admin) on 5 May 2022, 08:52How do you change from w/w to c/wQuestion by: Marc Graham on 12 Apr 2023, 14:16There's a small switch which is located on the driver. The fixed version has the driver located behind the bezel, but the adjustable version is on the driver.
I've uploaded an instruction sheet which shows a diagram of it, see Fig.5.Answer by: Chris Horridge (Admin) on 12 Apr 2023, 14:32The description states that there are "hole convertors" available for use in holes up to 120mm, where are those on your website ?Question by: W. Melis on 8 Oct 2023, 18:41Answer by: Chris Horridge (Admin) on 9 Oct 2023, 07:54I know the spec sheets say 85mm but my existing hole sizes are 80mm, would this squeeze in? Could you please measure on the actual item for me?Question by: James Hall on 19 Jun 2024, 10:30I've checked and this would need a minimum 83mm to accept the springs. You may be able to use a file to expand the holes slightly.Answer by: Mathew Smith (Admin) on 20 Jun 2024, 08:50 -
