Lightwave RF switching receivers allow you to switch a lighting circuit on an off using a Lightwave RF sender. A sender is either a wired or wireless wall switch, a handheld remote control, or a smart phone which requires the Lightwave Link hub.
Inline switching opens up a whole world of possibilities! They make it possible to operate mains voltage devices such as curtains, gates, garage doors and larger lighting circuits. Allowing to switch them remotely from up to 20 metres away or can even be controlled from anywhere in the world via your smartphone and Lightwave Link combination. If you want a dimmable receiver you'll need product LW822 instead, the LW822 can be used for dimming or switching.
These receivers are ideal for use in outdoor lighting applications or any areas were running additional cables is not possible. Because they are wire-free they can be especially useful in a bathroom where it is not permitted to install a regular switch. Inline receivers are wired directly into the lighting circuit in the ceiling void and don't need to be accessed physically, so they can be installed in roof spaces or wall cavities.
