Colour changing LED lighting is known as RGB which stands for red, green and blue. By mixing these three primary colours you can create up to 16 different colours meaning you are no longer limited to just one boring colour. This allows the colour of light to be changed at the touch of a button to reflect your mood or the function of the room. Using the remote control you can create anything from a prominent blue background light to a flashing disco style party atmosphere.
Order one master LED (LED05RMTGU10-MASTER) and one remote control (IRC161). This installation is straightforward and requires no additional wiring. The master will have green and white cables but these can be snipped off and tucked away. See below...
This installation requires the use of a master RGB LED (LED05RMTGU10-MASTER) and a slave RGB LED (LED05RMTGU10-SLAVE). A remote control will also be required (IRC161). You need to order at least one master and up to thirty two slaves. These LEDs fit into a GU10 downlight which provides power to them. They also have a green and white signal wire that must be connected to each other in series. This way you only have to control the master which sends the signal to the slaves. Other cheaper RGB LEDs have to be change individually. See below...

This is a slightly more complicated installation but allows you more freedom to create various lighting effects and scenes. The lamp controller becomes the master and the appropriate amount of slaves can be added. Up to ninety six slaves can be used in this installation. If more colour changing GU10 LEDs are required then a repeater (RSC167) should be used. Each repeater allows an additional thirty two slaves to be added to the circuit. If you want even more, just keep adding repeaters and slaves to the circuit.
Similar to this installation you can use your own DMX controller.
