Which Colour Temperature?

One of the main questions we regularly get asked is which is better; warm white (3000K) or neutral white (4000K)?

The choice is yours and is a matter of taste, warm white is warmer and cosier in appearance. Warm white is quite similar to a halogen or incandescent light. Neutral white is clearer and more clinical in appearance, this colour temperature is more popular in commercial environments as it is brighter, however some people don't like the cold effect it can have in their homes. If you are unsure, warm white is the safer option.

The pictures below show the difference between halogen and the H2 Pro in warm white and neutral white:

The main reason we love them so much is because our customers love them, they offer superior light output and they are extremely reliable. We get the least failures from this downlight and over the years we've sold thousands of different types of downlights, so we should know!
