120 Degrees Brand SpecificationsAurora Lighting Cap Type Integrated LED Colour Temperature SpecificationsMost of the LED lights we offer are available in the big 3 colour temperatures which are:2700K - Extra warm white has a warmer tone, like a halogen, although not quite as orange.3000K - Warm white is a mid range colour tone. Not as orange as 2700K and not as harsh as 4000K. This is the most popular colour temperature.4000K - Cool white (or neutral white), although clearer and slightly brighter than the others, it can make a room feel cold and clinical. Used correctly in the right environment it can make a room appear more modern. If you're unsure about colour temperatures we have colour temperature adjustable downlights available. These downlights contain multiple colour temperatures that can be changed either by a dip switch, wall switch or App. More information about them can be found here.If you want a brighter light then choose something with more lumens. The brightness difference in colour temperatures is barely 5%.Dimensions Located Below Specifications Table Dimmable No GTiN 5055155403669 IP Rating SpecificationsThis is the resistance to dust and moisture. Product Questions & Answers
Do you also sell clips to hang the lights under the cabinets?Question by: Gib Keight on 12 Jun 2022, 20:18These lights are supplied with mounting brackets as standard.Answer by: Chris Horridge (Admin) on 13 Jun 2022, 13:19Do these need an LED driver, or can they connect into existing lighting circuit?Question by: danny sowden on 21 Sep 2022, 16:46These lights operate on mains voltage and don't require an LED driver. You just need to order an input cable: EN-T5ML20.
You can then wire them into an existing lighting circuit.Answer by: Chris Horridge (Admin) on 22 Sep 2022, 05:20I already have old strip lighting under my kitchen cabinets, they’ve been there for 20 years. I’ve historically replaced the bulbs, but am now finding more and more that the unit just doesn’t work any more. All of them are connected to the mains, via a switch on the wall. Would these replace them easily and is it easy for me to ‘just’ rice them in to the existing mains?Question by: Alan Wall on 20 Oct 2022, 18:14These would clip in the same place, however the connector would be different so would need re-wiring.
Answer by: Mathew Smith (Admin) on 22 Oct 2022, 08:53I need to replace a KingShield SLLLED 14W Unit c5yrs old.It is the first unit in a "link" of two.Is the Aurora unit suitable and will I need to replace connectors and or other unit?Question by: Jeffrey Wootton on 21 Mar 2023, 12:07I've had a look at the specifications and it does look like a similar fitting.
But the Kingshield appears to be flourescent and these are LED. I'd replace them all so they match.
I'd order the input cable and any link links just in case the connectors don't match, then you've got everything new.Answer by: Chris Horridge (Admin) on 21 Mar 2023, 15:16Hi - I'm looking to replace 3 x Leyton Lighting Warm white LED linkable strip light (550mm, 8w), WL21188 (clips broken and can't get replacements). Would you know if the existing link cables for those lights would be suitable for these Aurora lights?
Many thanks. MichaelQuestion by: Michael on 12 Jul 2023, 13:22Chances are you will need to use new cables for these fittings as they aren't universal.Answer by: Mathew Smith (Admin) on 12 Jul 2023, 16:27 -
