LEDs are the future. Well, at least that’s what we’ve been told for what seems like an eternity by electrical experts. Supposedly more sustainable and more cost efficient, LED (light-emitting diode) lighting has long been heralded as the future for lighting.
Many different types of light fixtures use LEDs. Incredibly versatile by nature, light-emitting diodes produce their light when the electrons move through the semiconductor material. Unsurprisingly, because of their versatility, the last few years have seen thousands of homes switch to LED lights.
This Sunday, Downlights Direct will be joining together with millions across our planet to mark Earth hour. Earth hour is now a worldwide event that has become the largest global movement for the environment.
Just wanted to say a big well done to the staff at www.DownlightsDirect.co.uk for achieving the 9.5 rating on Trust Pilot. Selling downlights and LEDs is not an easy task these days with so many variations and compatibility issues to consider.
As LED prices continue to fall and as more retailers finally catch onto the craze – the future of LED is not bright, at least for the re-sellers! Prices are plummeting faster than expected and I believe many companies will soon go out of business as a result.
