I already have this switch in one room. Will having another interfere with each other?Question by: nitin on 3 Aug 2022, 21:04No, you pair a switch to a receiver, so as long as the new switch doesn't get paired with an existing receiver you're fine.Answer by: Chris Horridge (Admin) on 4 Aug 2022, 09:51Can you pair multiple receivers to 1 switch?Question by: B Moore on 26 Nov 2023, 15:16You can pair up to 10 switches with 1 receiver.
But you can't pair a receiver with multiple switches.
Answer by: Chris Horridge (Admin) on 27 Nov 2023, 09:27I have fitted a receiver with 2 switches ,paired up ok using the remote pairing method all seemed ok . my problem is that the light comes on even if you don't operate the switchQuestion by: Russell Alan Walker on 12 Sep 2024, 08:30I've checked this with forum and they have come back with the below, if you could take a look and send an email to [email protected] and they can assist further with the issue.
Check if there is any other RF appliance being used in the immediate area, as this may interfere with the frequency used by the Kinetic switches.
Are there any other lights on the circuit
Check the L/N wires in & L/N wires out of the receiver are wired in correctly
Which Receiver are you using
What type of light is it
Are they 2 x 1 gang switches or 1 X 2 gang switch
Unpair one switch from the receiver, switch electric off for 2 mins, switch back on then re-pair this switch to the receiver
Bring back the 2 switches & receiver & swap over.
If the light still comes on intermittently when you have wired in the replacement receiver then –
The issue lies elsewhere & not with the kinetic switches / receiverAnswer by: Oliver Clegg (Admin) on 13 Sep 2024, 14:22 -
