My existing holes are 55mm diameter, will these lights fit?Question by: Peter Smith on 21 Apr 2022, 15:29While the hole cut out size is 50mm, you should be fine with a 55mm cut out as the rim diameter is 60mm. in regards to this fitting, it is only IP20 so can't be used in an area where moisture would exist.
Fire rating for the most part is a requirement - it essentially means that in the event of a fire, the fitting would greatly reduce the rate at which the fire spreads.
I would advise looking at the below fitting which is a similar size, but is also fire rated and IP rated.
