Linkable LED strip lights are straight to mains linkable light fittings that usually require little to no wiring when installing. Attaching the strip lights to the surface you wish to place them on only requires a handful of brackets, usually provided with the lights. Simple! These type of fittings tend to be used consistently on the underside of cabinets providing an even spread of light to brighten the kitchen cabinets and work tops. This is excellent for people who require well lit counter tops.

They come in a variety of fitting types from Fluorescent, Triphosphor to popular LED.

Recessed downlights are ideal for under cabinets that require the fittings to be discreet instead of protruding, surface downlights on the other hand will protrude slightly but can be bought in different shapes and sizes.

Both surface and recessed lights can be bought in a variety of finishes that can be combined well with the aesthetics of any kitchen if correctly combined, the fittings tend to be only available in 12V or 24V versions so they will require drivers to convert the mains AC power to the lower voltage DC output of 12V or 24V.

LED Eyelid Marker Light

You can insert plinth & marker lights into a range of surfaces such as wood, stone, brick and metal, essentially every surface you would find in a kitchen! To install them into a stone ground you would require an installation tube. The different ways you can use these light fittings is relatively universal, with marker lights you can install them alongside the cabinet skirting of the floor creating an uplight lighting effect or lay them in certain patterns on the floor area in groups or in a path.

Plinth lights you can install them into the cabinet skirting itself, providing a nice accent light below the cabinets. Furthermore they can be fitted into kitchen walls as recessed or protruding wall lights. These fittings are truly a universal bit of kit, and so with an open mind and a bit of imagination, you can design some brilliant lighting effects suited to your specification.

Led Strip

Possibly the most flexible lighting on the market, LED strip is made-to-measure lighting that can be created to your specifications, it can essentially be fitted to almost any surface and not only that, it comes in single colour temperatures including Cool White and Warm White. Its also available in colour changing which can be controlled by a simple click of a remote or switch to even the touch of a phone if combined with compatible accessories.

COB LED Strip Tape

LED strip can be cut down to the length you need, which makes it a perfect choice for kitchen lighting. This is because the cupboards widths are always different in size, you just need to measure them and we can help you choose the correct lengths, which is dependent on the cutting intervals of the LED strip tape. You'll then need an appropriately sized LED driver to power them which is determined by the total wattage that you're connecting to it. If the LED tape is 15W per metre and you've got 5 metres, simply multiply the the wattage by the total metres, which gives you 75 watts, so you'd select an LED driver which can carry the load - a 100W LED driver would be ideal for this example.

LED strip can be used all around the kitchen, as under cabinet lighting, on top and even inside! You could even integrate it into the design of your kitchen!
