Click Ovia miniature LED star lights require a cut size of just 25mm. They are one of the smallest LED downlights we offer. Construct from cast aluminium they are rated at IP44 and consume 1.6 watts. Fitted with spring clips they are easy to install and can be quickly recessed into the ceiling.
As these lights only consume 1.6 watts they only omit a minimal amount of light and are only recommended as a background twinkle lighting effect.

Can Click Ovia LED Starlight Miniature Downlight be used in recessed showers shelves?Question by: Ciara on 25 Jul 2022, 12:35Technically yes. Its rated at IP44 which is water resistant enough for use within a shower zone. With it being inside a shower, it would depend on how powerful the shower is, so its a bit borderline.
IP65 would be better as the rating is more resistant to powerful sprays.
There is another, more water resistant version that could be better, but the colour temperature is 2700K instead of 6000K.

You could technically use a 12V DC constant voltage, dimmable LED driver but the dimming range wouldn't be very good.
The recommended driver is non-dimmable: TR301

However, I have just noticed that the TR301 LED Driver recommended dimensions are 120x37x25mm.
