Icage fire rated downlights by Ansell Lighting will house GU10 reflector lamps, this includes halogen and LED. Each Icage downlight is supplied with a GU10 (mains voltage) lamp holder. The new iCage Mini version is now more compact in size at just 89-100mm in height and new spring clip covers that reduce pressure on plaster board ceilings.
The Ansell iCage Mini will now only house perfect fit style GU10 lamps which are around 55mm in depth. A selection of GU10 LEDs can be added from the options below to help you create your own iCage LED downlight.
The Icage contains unique fire rated and open rated technology that provides complete fire protection for safety and is fully approved to Part B of the Building Regulations. The 'cool cage' design provides increased airflow to the lamp inside allowing it to ventilate better and ultimately last longer.
Icage fire rated downlights are available in fixed, adjustable or IP65 bathroom versions. They are premium quality downlights that have an ultra slim bezel which is not as chunky as other downlights, allowing it to blend into your less noticeably.

Can this light be used as a replacement for an Ansell AGU10G/CH?Question by: Bill on 15 Dec 2022, 17:52Those were a pressed steel gimbal (adjustable) downlight in chrome. With an 85mm cut out size.
The Ansell iCage gimbal has a smaller cut out size of 76mm.
The Ansell Edge is 80mm, so would be a better fit:

If they're this height then yes. The older versions were very deep and wouldn't fit.
