The Office Lighting Project

We decided to install LED tubes in our solicitor's office as we were sick of our old fluorescent tubes breaking and having to constantly replace them. Whilst it's fair to say fluorescent tubes are cheaper than LED tubes initially, the amount of money were spending on them was getting out of hand as we always needed to replace them!

I had bought LED lights from Downlights Direct in the past so I know the quality of their products as well of the benefits of LED lighting. I installed my LED bulbs in my house over 5 years ago and haven't had a single failure yet!

Having spoke with one of the sales staff, he advised that I try the Philips Master LED tubes as they were supposed to work perfectly with my existing fluorescent setup. I am not that much of a technical expert so I was happy to go with his advice.

As ever, delivery from Downlights Direct was efficient and installing the LED tubes was very straight forward. We had to replace the 'starter' for each light that we installed as apparently these would only work with our new LED tubes. These were included as with each LED tube we bought.

The lights work perfectly and seem to have made our rooms brighter and appear more modern. I can't quite put my finger on why, there's obviously some scientific reason behind it.

Another great benefit is that the lights instantly turn on whereas our old fluorescents had an annoying flicker before fully warming up.

We've had them installed a few months now and not one has needed replacing which is absolutely what we wanted.

Overall, I would highly recommend these products to any other office/commercial environment looking to get long lasting lighting.
