EvoFire downlights from Integral LED represent another leap forward in fire rated downlighting technology. The unique design of the EvoFire uses it's own steel and glass materials to create a fire barrier and doesn't require intumescent materials like other fire rated downlights on the market.
This combination offers a more lightweight and low cost design. It also avoids the old fashioned fire can design which cuts off airflow to the LED lamp inside. Airflow is essential for LEDs as heat gets trapped inside the cans and significantly reduces lamp life and performance. This design allows LED lamps to operate at around 10 degrees cooler than other types of downlights.
The can-less design of the EvoFire is not the only standout feature, it also has a slim bezel at just 1mm thick which provides a more minimalist appearance within a ceiling space. Designed only for use with LED lamps up to 10W.
EvoFire downlights are available in multiple variations including insulation coverable, round in multi-pack rates. We also have a low glare downlight version available in a separate listing.

Yes IP Rating SpecificationsThis is the resistance to dust and moisture. The first digit is for the resistance to dust and the second digit is for moisture.
Anything higher than IP44 can be used in bathroom zones 1 and 2.
An IP65 rating offers a higher resistance and is generally used outdoors.
An IP68 is fully water resistant and can be submersed in water, up to 1M in depth.

hi does this support the Phillips hue bulb?Question by: Mahmood Izzidien on 13 Jun 2022, 17:34The Philips Hue GU10 was originally physically deeper in size than a normal GU10 LED (58mm deep). While it did fit inside the non insulation coverable EvoFire, the lens was slightly curved causing it not to fit correctly.
The newer normal size versions still seem to have a curved lens which may cause them not to sit correctly in the EvoFire which is flat:
