IP44 Downlights Installed In Soffit Boards

Project: Illuminating Front Of House

We fitted 3 Ansell outdoor adjustable downlights to a new storm canopy built at the front of the property. They have been fitted with 6W GU10 LED bulbs for energy saving. Two are fitted above the garage door and the third is a vaulted soffit above the entrance door to the house.

Because the house was a new build we were able to wire the lights in before the roof was fitted meaning easy access both above and below the soffit which made it very straight forward to wire in.

Problems

Because we planned ahead we didn't particularly encounter any issues.
