Installing Insulation Coverable Downlights In A Bathroom
I wanted to install some new downlights in my bathroom with dimmable energy efficient LED bulbs, but due to having insulation in the ceiling space I had to go for Insulation Coverable Downlights. After appreciated help and advice from the Downlights Direct team I was recommended the Aurora Insulation Coverable Downlights with the Philips 6W LED GU10 in a Warm White 3000K colour temperature. The bulb gives a bright lovely dimmable light, and blends with the white finish of the downlight and room colour. -
'Star Trek Styled' Infra-red Sensor Switch Installation
The project entailed updating our bathroom with a new light fitting but instead of keeping the existing pull switch, I wanted to install a non touch sensor type switch. Some PIR detectors have a large sensor range or worked to a timer, those were not suitable for my application as the door is close to the area I needed the switch and the timer would mean the lights would be on too long or not long enough. -
Outdoor Porch Lighting With EcoLED ZEP1E's
The area of my front garden near the front door has always been very dark spot in the evenings. Not only did I want to have lighting to make it easier when looking for door keys, I also wanted to add more lighting to add a little more in the way of security as advised by many authorities including our local Police force.
